Our team at the XXIX Encontro Nacional da Sociedade Portuguesa de Química (SPQ2025) 🇵🇹

     Our team participated in the XXIX National Meeting of the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ), an event that brings together the Portuguese scientific community to discuss the latest advances in chemistry and its applications. Two of our researchers presented their work: 

🔹 Pedro Sanches – “Caracterização qualitativa do Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) por sililação e determinação por GCxGC-TOFMS e GCxGC-FID”
👉 Presentation addressed the qualitative characterization of POME, an important waste stream, using advanced analytical techniques for chemical profiling. 

🔹 Rita Santos – “Insights into Hydroprocessing of Oleic Acid over a Bifunctional Ni/H-ZSM5 Catalyst in a Continuous Reactor for SAF Production” 

     This participation highlights the group’s contributions both to sustainable fuels and to the valorisation of industrial residues, reinforcing our commitment to innovative and environmentally relevant research. 🌍✨
