Our work "Continuous-flow hydroprocessing of long-chain fatty acids: reaction pathways and the impact of lignin-derived aromatics towards efficient deoxygenation" is now available in Catalysis Science & Technology (RSC)! π Authored by Rita Assis dos Santos, Arij Ben Hassine, Pedro JosΓ© Sanches Filho, M. Joana Neiva Correia, and Pedro S. F. Mendes, this study established oleic acid reaction pathways under realistic continuous-flow conditions and explored how co-feeding guaiacol, a lignin-derived compound, impacts catalyst deactivation, but does not significantly affect the oleic acid-derived fingerprint, demonstrating the robustness of the lipidβs reaction pathways. These findings are a step forward in designing flexible hydroprocessing strategies for sustainable aviation fuel production βοΈπ± π
