The Moving2Neutrality Agenda is a highly innovative integrated industrial project focused on the production of green hydrogen and biofuels to support the decarbonization of the transport sector, particularly in segments that are hard to electrify. The consortium, led by Petrogal, includes national reference entities with unrivalled knowledge and experience throughout the value chain as well as leading institutions in R&D activities at all stages of the production processes.

Head of consortium. October, 2023.

WP1: Industrial scale green hydrogen (Green hydrogen @ industrial scale), which aims to maximise the potential uses of green hydrogen in various contexts, namely industrial and for mobility. WP1 consists of a green hydrogen production unit that uses solar and wind energy in a 100 MW electrolyser that will generate c. 11,000 tonnes of renewable H2 per year and six (6) innovation projects.

WP2: Sustainable decarbonisation of land and air transport (Fueling sustainable toad, rail and aviation decarbonization), which aims to reduce emissions from these sectors by producing a set of sustainable fuels. This WP2 includes the installation of an innovative industrial unit capable of producing sustainable aviation fuel using renewable raw materials. 6 (Six) innovation projects are part of this work package.

WP3: Hydrogen as a Fuel for Road Transport (H2 Road Transport Fuel for the Future), which aims to provide the context for promoting the introduction of hydrogen for road transport. It includes a pilot network of green hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) for the distribution of green hydrogen production for land mobility and one (1) research project to deepen the technical and economic evaluation of hydrogen transport solutions for HRS networks.

WP4: Support for the management of the Consortium, which is emerging as a cross-cutting tool for the management of information to be made available to the competent authorities, in particular the control of payment requests.
