Our Group at EuropaCat 2025 🇳🇴

EuropaCat 2025| September, 2025

     From 31 August to 5 September 2025, our team participated in EuropaCat 2025, held in Trondheim, Norway, one of the most prestigious conferences in the field of catalysis. The group was represented by Filipa Ribeiro, Pedro Mendes, and Laura Esteves, who actively contributed to the event through poster presentations. 

📌 Poster Presentations: 

✨ “Hydrodeoxygenation of Palmitic Acid over Ni-based Bifunctional Catalysts”
— presented by Laura Esteves, showcasing the work of PhD student Cristian Navas. 

✨ “e-CatNote: an ELN for Heterogeneous Catalysis Based on Ontology for Laboratory Operations”
— presented by Pedro Mendes. 

✨ “Understanding Mixture Effects in Hydroprocessing of Non-Conventional Feedstocks for Sustainable Aviation Fuel”
— also presented by Pedro Mendes, based on the work of PhD student Arij Ben Hassine. 

     This participation was an excellent opportunity to disseminate our research, foster discussions with the catalysis community, and reinforce collaborations at the international level. 🌍🔬
